Women Empowerment

Rapid urbanisation across Indian cities is increasing raising the question of women's role in society, in the workplace, in the city and how should cities gear up towards this role. Gender parity and women empowerment are becoming two very crucial urban challenges. Only by providing an equal access to social, political and economic through providing an equal access to infrastructure and facilities towards living, working and mobility in the urban environment. Women empowerment requires to be looked at through the lens of urban planning policy frameworks, urban design, infrastructure provision to create a safe and steady environment for women.
